Hi my name is Ian. I've lived in Brooklyn, New York, for over ten years and love to share my joy of sailing through my business Brooklyn Sail which I operate with brother Andrew. We have over 2500 reviews, with a 4.96 average out of 5 stars, doing sailing trips in New York Harbor since 2017!
I started SailXP because I wanted to create an experience site just for sailing—a place to find the best sailing companies all over the world—no extra charges, best available prices, no account sign ups, and easy to book schedules.
Sites like Tripadvisor often charge operators 10-40% commissions just for listing activities. That cost often gets passed onto the customer. With SailXP you book directly with the sailing provider guaranteeing the best price.
Our goal is to become a low fee (or even free) hub for sailing operators as well—which means better prices and less fees for the sailing companies we know and love.
