Hi my name is Ian. I've lived in Brooklyn, New York, for over ten years and love to share my joy of sailing and nature with guests through my business Brooklyn Sail that I run with my brother Andrew.

I started SailXP because I wanted to create an experience site just for sailing—a place that connects sailing enthusiasts directly with the best sailing companies all over the world—no third party middleman, no account sign ups, no mailing lists, and easy to book schedules.

Sites like Tripadvisor often charge operators 10-40% commissions just for listing activities. That cost often gets passed onto either the passenger or the sailing operator. With SailXP you book directly with the sailing provider guaranteeing the best price for the customer.

Our goal is to become a low fee (or even free) hub for sailing operators around the world—which means better prices and less fees for the sailing companies we know and love.

I hope you enjoy browsing through all the great sailing experiences we’ve gathered and maybe you can find an option to enjoy. We will continue to add new locations and options and looking forward to 2026!

Welcome to SailXP, your destination for sailing experiences.

At SailXP we've gathered a selection of top-rated sailing experiences, boasting thousands of five star reviews from across the world.

Every listed adventure meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
