Private Sailing Charter

Jolly Sailing offers private charters for up to 6 guests on a 32' Ericson sailboat. Hop on the Bushman's Friend and "take the helm" on your adventure, literally and figuratively!

Want to sit sideways on a windy afternoon? You got it! Prefer a mellow sail paired with your favorite drinks and apps? No problem!

Guests can go for a swim, help with the sails, play their own tunes, and wave to the sea lions. With Jolly Sailing you get to craft your adventure.

As someone who has done a fair share of travel, I welcome customers of diverse backgrounds with "open arms" and my customers truly enjoy their outings.

Beginning Sailing • ASA 101

You’ll join a group of eager adventurers who have also decided to explore the aquatic world from the deck of a sailboat.

Your licensed and certified professional sailing instructor will provide all the resources you need in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your Beginning Sailing class breezes through basic sail terminology and concepts, the building blocks of solid, nautical knowledge and skills.

You and your crew will apply what you’ve learned to sail the 25 foot boat with minimal guidance. Don’t worry, your instructor will keep you out of trouble and help when it’s necessary.

Before you know it, you and your fellow novices will take control of the sailboat and sail it efficiently and safely from one location to another. Your knowledge and skills will develop quicker than you might expect.

By the end of the two day, 14 hour sailing course you’ll shed the novice label. If you make the grade (and most our sailing students do), your instructor will award you the ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing certification.

This highly esteemed achievement will show the world you have earned the right to call yourself a sailor.

The Catalina 275 Sport just may be the boat you’ve been waiting for. Maybe you want to recapture the pure joy of sailing in a simpler, but stylish boat that doesn’t require much effort or crew to get you out on the water.

The Catalina 275 will surely turn heads while out on the bay. She is a 27 ‘day sailor with tiller steering and a self-tacking jib.

The boat seats 6 very comfortably. There is room down below to stretch out, store a picnic lunch, and enjoy a mini galley for light cooking. What’s more, this day sailor also includes an enclosed head.
